Element 3D Submission Requirements

Refer to the following guidelines before submitting your Element 3D templates.

Technical Requirements

  • You may not include pre-rendered elements that have been made with Element 3D
  • Element 3D templates must be created using the most recent version of the plugin at date of submission
  • All assets, including materials, shaders, environment maps, lighting setups, and models, must be included in the project .zip
  • Maintain a clean folder structure, both within the ZIP and the actual projectThe ZIP folder's root directory must contain only the project, documentation, and asset sub-folder. Here is an example of the folder structure:

  • All assets intended to be replaced must come with an included placeholder image 
  • Project assets must be properly linked before submitting the project

Documentation Requirements

The minimum requirements for documentation are as follows:

  1. List of all project assets
    1. List all models
      1. .C4D files
      2. .Obj files
    2. List all materials in their passes (diffuse, illumination and so on)
  2. Documentation must explain, at the least, how to make the required changes. See here for more details regarding documentation requirements
