Why has my file been in the review queue for such a long time?
All submitted files are thoroughly reviewed based on our technical and aesthetic standards. Your file should be reviewed within three days of submission, however if it's taking a little longer than that, don't despair! The queue may have grown unexpectedly, or it's possible that your file requires a second opinion before a decision can be made.
I’ve been waiting for more than three days and I still haven’t heard anything, what’s happening?
It's possible that your file has been put on hold for a second opinion. This can happen when your file contains:
- Licensed materials in the file. Your file may have included a font, image, or something similar that requires a license or consent to be distributed by you. If you dont include sufficient evidence that you have the rights to do this then the review team will be in touch.
- Copyright problems. If you have submitted an item that is too similar to another item or may have been sourced elsewhere then an investigation will be performed.
- Unusual subject matter, style or elements. Sometimes a reviewer may wish to get a second opinion on a file or a certain element to help them in making the right decision.
It's been a while, when should I contact support?
If we've taken longer than seven days to review your file, we encourage you to contact support so that they may investigate for you. Questions regarding files that have queued for less than seven days will not be answered as it is likely your file is still simply being investigated by the review team and there is nothing that support can do to speed this up. We'll do our best to keep you informed of the status of your item whenever possible!
